17 Feb 21 Installing a third fan

The dogs woke me up at 6:30. It was pretty cold inside without the furnace so I put on a pot of water for coffee but later decided to get coffee at the Burger King. I started the RT and turned on the furnace then let the dogs out for a potty break. After the dogs had done their business I put them back inside and shut-off the furnace and RT. I went inside the truck stop and had my coffee. I grabbed a refill for the road and after securing everything in the RT got on the road for Las Vegas.
I arrived in Vegas around 9 and stopped at a Burger King off I515 for some more coffee. I updated my budget and read the Epoch Time News. I was sad to learn that Rush Limbaugh had died this morning. I have listened to Rush's talk show most mornings since Alison brought him to my attention many years ago, shortly after it started. I agreed with 99% of what Rush said on his show. I will miss him a lot.
After coffee I drove a short distance to a Walmart. I needed a power cable splitter adapter to power a third personal cooling fan. WM didn't have one but I did find some hardware I needed for the dogs leashes. I also bought a few groceries. After putting things away in the RT I grabbed Wiggin and walked to an Auto Parts Plus but they didn't have the adapter either. I found an AutoZone a mile away online and Wiggin and I walked there. Wiggin's arthritis is getting worse and I carried him part of the distance. Luck for me the AutoZone had the adapter.
As we were leaving the store we met a lady who commented on how cute Wiggin was. She appeared to be living on the street because there were several backpacks by her. Her appearance was pretty clean however so I'm not sure. She told me about a time when she had rescued a dog from traffic. A nice lady that I hope has a better future. She didn't ask for money and I didn't offer her any.
Back at the RT I installed the adapter and checked to see that the additional fan worked.
I nuked a can of beef and noodles and ate that with a couple pieces of toast.
I had moved from the Walmart parking lot to a side lot next to a State Farm office. I was able to make it through the night without being disturbed.
